Jean Broadwater Johnson

Rosalyn Jean Broadwater Johnson, 82, died peacefully Sunday, December 5, 2010 at her residence.
The native and lifelong resident of Savannah was the daughter of the late Thomas J. and Inez W. Broadwater. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James Herbert Johnson, Jr.
She was a graduate of Savannah High School and was retired from Citizens and Southern National Bank after 40 years of service. She was a member of the Savannah Golf Club, a communicant of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, a member of the Daughter's of Ireland, the Red Hat Club, the Garden Club of Savannah, the Tuesday Lunch Club, and C & S Retireesa.
She is survived by her Godson and his wife, Michael E. and Darlene Beytagh, of Tybee Island, her brother and sister-in-law, Charles Murray and Charlene Broadwater, her brother-in-law, William J. Johnson, and many other relatives, Gloria O'Brien Dean, Mary Julia Howell, Thomas J. Beytagh, Jr. Mary Ellen, John P. Beytagh Amy, Catherine B. Shanahan Mike, Angela B. Stegin Billy, Patricia B. Foran Mike, Peg B. Kicklighter, Gertrude B. Harris Robert, and Suzanne B. Johnson David, Ralph Joseph Gould, III, Gregory H. Gould Alexandra, Michael D. Gould Lydia, Sally G. Bradshaw Mark, Carol J. Guest, Cathy and Carol Sloan, and many other grand-nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 8, 2010 with a Rosary Service at 6:00 p.m. at Fox and Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, December 9, 2010 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father John Lyons, Celebrant.
Burial will be in the Holy Cross section of the Catholic Cemetery.
Active Pallbearers will be Patrick Beytagh, Jr., Daniel Shanahan, William Stegin, III, Christopher Kicklighter, Michael Foran, Jr., Trip Harris, Gregory H. Gould, and Michael D. Gould.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Brian Shanahan, Matthew Stegin, Connor Beytagh, Chance Harris, Joseph Foran, William Johnson, Thomas Johnson, Ralph J. Gould, III, and Ryan J. Gould.

The family would like to thank her caregivers, Mildred Tolbert, and her daughter Abigail Bezins for the love and care shown to Mrs. Johnson.
